PEACHD Final Dissemination Conference
As the final dissemination event of the EU-funded PEACHD Project we will co-produce the 22nd Annual INEBRIA Meeting, to be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from Wednesday 14th October – Friday 16th October 2026, under the title (click to download teh summary document):

Health promotion through brief interventions:
Broadening the scope to communities and lifestyles”
Key topics and areas in focus at the INEBRIA-PEACHD 2026 Conference:
- Outcomes and impacts: including the role of SBI in prevention of cancer and other NCDs
- Broader interventions: Going beyond alcohol to address multiple risk factors
- Tailoring and embedding approaches for brief interventions in different contexts, including participatory research and co-created interventions
- Training new professional profiles to deliver brief interventions
- Working with end user population groups living with disadvantage to reduce inequity
- Hard to reach groups: e.g., those with migrant, refugee status and living with lower SES, among others

Practical information for the Conference:
- Structure: (NB: the main event will run from lunchtime Wednesday 14/10 to lunchtime on Friday 16/10):
- Pre-conference meetings: Wednesday 14/10/2026 – 8:30h – 13h
- Conference Day 1: Wednesday 14/10/2026 – 14h – 17:30h
- Conference Day 2 (including official opening session): Thurs 15/10/2026 – 8:30h – 17:30h
- Conference Day 3: Fri 16/10/2026 – 8:30h – 13h (lunch provided)
- Location: Karolinum Centre (Address: Ovocný trh 560/5), Prague, Czech Republic
- Capacity: Given the venue capacity, the conference expects to host around 150 engaged participants.
- Fees: No fee will be charged for conference participation (which does not include the social dinner or any individual accommodation, travel costs or other expenses related to attendance). Pre-registration is mandatory due to finite venue capacity; participation cannot be guaranteed, and a formal commitment will be required to attend.
Registration process:
- Pre-registration will be open from 18 February – 15 April [LINK HERE]
- In case of interest beyond capacity, priority will be given to those actively contributing to the conference and ensuring its impact
- Confirmation of participation from the conference organisers is planned for mid-May
- Registered participants will be required to formally commit to attending the event through a simple online format.
Call for Abstracts:
- Abstract submission is through the pre-registration form [LINK HERE] Hard to reach groups (e.g., those with migrant, refugee status and living with lower SES, among others)– each participant can submit up to two abstracts for different formats in the pre-registration form (see the guidelines and template for abstract submission)
- An abstract may be submitted for oral presentations, symposia, workshops or posters (and we also welcome innovative communication formats), according to the abstract submission guidelines (downloadable in the online form)
- Abstract submission period: 18 February – 15 April
- Presenters will be notified of the abstract submission outcome (along with confirmation of registration) by mid-May.
- In order to encourage diversity in the programme, and maximise knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas, the scientific committee will aim to maximise the number of groups’ work represented.
